AP - Family ties are powerful, and when the folks are as famous and as accomplished as the Redgrave clan, these bindings must be industrial strength indeed.
Reuters - With all of his recent tweeting and tabloid coverage, it's a wonder John Mayer had time to write new music -- much less the best and most adventurous of his four studio albums.
AP - It's one of America's most haunting crime stories: four members of a Kansas family brutally murdered on Nov. 15, 1959, at their rural farmhouse.

She ripped on Joe Jonas.
She hinted at a romance with Taylor Lautner.
She referenced the rude actions of Kanye West.
And that was just in Taylor Swift's opening monologue!
Indeed, the celebrity gossip world is buzzing today over the singer's stint as Saturday Night Live host over the weekend. Did you see it? Did you love it? Or did you think Swift took a cheap shot at Jonas?
During the show, Taylor also took on the Twilight Saga in a spoof; and mocked Kate Gosselin for... well, being Kate Gosselin.
Swift has mostly received positive reviews for her performance, with Entertainment Weeky labeling her as the funniest host of the season. Do you agree?
Did you think she was funny?

The Jonas Brothers are poised to take over the world. There's little we can do about it.
The Disney Channel has renewed JONAS - which stars Kevin, Nick, Joe, Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson - for a second season. It will premiere in mid-2010 and focus on the siblings' summer vacation in Los Angeles.
However, all is not perfect in the (adorable) Jonas world.
The group was forced to cancel a concert in Switzerland over the weekend because Nick Jonas came down with an upper respiratory infection.
This marked the first time the precious trio has canceled a show due to sickness, a development Nick apologized for via Twitter yesterday morning:
"I am happy to tell everyone that I woke up this morning, and I'm already feeling better! Thanks for all the prayers. Can't wait to rock Bilbao!"
Having dominated headlines last week with her two-part Good Morning America and 20-20 interview detailing Chris Brown's brutal assault on her in detail and for the first time in her own words, Rihanna is ready to get back to the music.
To that end, she made a surprise cameo Sunday night at her mentor Jay-Z's concert at UCLA. We believe this is her first live performance since the Chris Brown assault, and while it's only one song, it doesn't look like she missed a beat.
Check out her performance with Jay-Z of "Run This Town" below ...
For more Rihanna live, follow the jump for a look at her performance of a new song, "Hard," at the very same venue. Not sure how we feel about this one ...
… ContinueNFL legend Lawrence Taylor has a history of substance abuse, but there was no evidence of drugs or hookers playing a role in his Florida arrest last night.
Taylor, who recently competed on Dancing with the Stars and won two Super Bowls with the New York Giants, was merely nailed for leaving scene of an accident.
The original LT (talk to us when you play on Super Bowl Sunday, LaDainian Tomlinson) was brought to a local police station and was later released on $500 bond.
Cops say despite his bloodshot eyes in the mug shots below, Taylor, who has been clean for years, was totally coherent and officers didn't perform a sobriety test.
That doesn't explain why he allegedly hit another car, crashed into a guard rail, then drove several miles from the scene while his car was missing a tire, but hey.
Lawrence Taylor demolished his car like he used to smash opposing quarterbacks to pieces... except that his devastating hits were actually legal on the football field.
Police found LT standing outside his car, which was missing a front tire ... which was found at the scene of the crash. That's as sloppy as O.J. Simpson leaving one glove covered in his dead ex-wife's blood at his house and the other at hers.
"He said he had been involved in a crash," Lt. James Durden of the Florida Highway Patrol said, adding he "thought he hit only a guard rail and not another car."
Fortunately, no one was hurt and no one else but Taylor involved in the crash. Taylor was also very cooperative when he was arrested. Small victories, right?
